Includes: felt tipped wand, pillow, and a beautiful medium-sized seven metal Tibetan Singing bowl!

This 5.5" bowl was machine made and weighs 975 grams. When played, it gives off the "A" note which resonates with the 6th Chakra, a.k.a. the "Third Eye".

Inscribed along the outside of the bowl is "Om Mani Padme Hum", the "Prayer of Compassion". The most common mantra in Tibet. Means "Aum, to the Jewel in the Lotus", this mantra is said to invoke compassion. Repeating it is believed to purify the mind and body and the mantra is also used for protection.

These bowls are traditionally made of a special seven metal alloy of gold, silver, iron, mercury, tin, copper and lead. Each of the sacred metals is aligned with the seven heavenly bodies in our solar system and the seven chakras of our body. Additionally, each bowl is fine tuned to the specific note that affects and individual chakra.

The making of traditional singing bowls goes back 2,400 years to the time of the Buddha and has been handed down from gerneration to generation in India, Nepal and Tibet.
